Our intention here is to document our search for a permanent home, where we looked, what we found, and why we made the choices we did.  Hopefully, it will be informative and helpful for those making the same journey.

Our Search - In April of 2007, we started on a driving tour across the US combining sightseeing with a search for a place to live.   Follow along to see what we found and the compromises and changes we make to achieve our ideal home.
