Judi decided to turn the apartment into a Catered Rental apartment whenever we do not have visiting guests - that provided us with a creative outlet during the winter of '07-08

Room	What we did:	How it looks now:
Kitchen	The kitchen was pretty basic, with a 20 year-old stove and other appliances that did not fit.  We added a column and soffit to separate it from the living room, replaced all appliances with modern ones suited to the space and added cabinets and shelves to match.
Living room	The living room was blah! with no excitement.  Fresh paint with a bright accent wall, smart furniture and a comfortable pass-thru to the kitchen completed the transformation
Bedroom	The bedroom layout was as good as it could be but replacement of shoddy closet doors with bright mirrors, fresh coat of paint and modern furniture made a lot of difference.
Bathroom	The bathroom was dated and hard to clean with a grotty-looking floor.  We replaced the floor, added a modern shower door, new fixtures and bright paint - a real transformation
